Two years ago 42 people committed to making some pretty big changes in their fitness and nutrition routines. They joined the Ocean Blue Fitness New Year New You Challenge the winning team of which would receive 3000.00. Many of them were quite nervous as they started. They hadn’t been working out and weren’t very comfortable in the gym. Many of them had previous injuries or aches and pains. They were anxious about following a meal plan and worried that they would be hungry and miserable all the time. Six weeks later this group had shed 178 pounds of body fat, had adopted healthier eating habits and had become comfortable and happy in the gym. They moved better, felt better and were very excited to continue on their fitness journeys.

The winning team consisted of three women who worked hard; consistently getting 5 workouts per week and eating according to the recommended meal plan. They almost always arrived at the gym together and even did some outdoor snow shoeing on the weekends.
