At Ocean Blue Fitness we know that proper nutrition is key to the success of any fitness program. Regardless of your weight, eating the right foods enables you to get the best results from your training. Most of our clients aren’t happy with their weight and their bodies when they start with us and are really hoping for fat loss. We value our clients and feel strongly about meeting their needs and for that reason we made it a priority to become fat loss experts.
There are countless fast weight loss options being advertised, but we just aren’t comfortable taking that route with our clients. We want to deliver lasting results. We want our clients to beat the odds and to keep the weight off. We want our clients to see and feel positive connections between their workouts and their nutrition. We want to deliver a nutrition program that our team is comfortably and successfully implementing in their own lives with great results.
Ocean Blue Fitness is now partnering with Precision Nutrition to offer a 12 month nutrition coaching program. The Precision Nutrition Program takes a habit based approach to nutrition. Each week members are assigned a habit to work on and each habit builds on the last. The program addresses many aspects of life related to nutrition including sleep, stress management, behavior change and social support. Daily accountability checks and lessons will keep you engaged throughout the year. Participants are encouraged to take ownership and to find their own way on their journey toward better health and fitness.
Will I see weight loss quickly? Truthfully, fast weight loss is typically not sustainable weight loss. Some clients see slow steady weight loss from day one while others take weeks to see a change on the scale. Members who stay the course, show up for three workouts a week and hone their skills with each habit see fantastic results. In fact, most members report that they never thought losing weight could feel so easy. I say take the time to do the math… if I told you that you would be 26 pounds lighter at the end of the year could you live with that? A half a pound a week doesn’t sound like much until you realize that in 10 months that’s 20 pounds that aren’t coming back the way they would have if you lost them in 12 weeks.
